This Heritage Day, gather on the lawns at Hazendal Wine Estate for a celebration of South African flavour, family and the great tradition of the braai. Our Heritage Day Braai Picnic brings together the best of both worlds: a beautifully packed picnic basket filled with local cheeses, charcuterie, garden-inspired salads and South African favourites, complemented by live-fire cooking straight from the braai.

Our Spring 3-Course Set Menu continues the success of our winter series, celebrating the fresh flavours and seasonal produce of spring through Chef Charlton’s thoughtful and considered approach.

We’ll welcome you with freshly baked bread and homemade pâtés, followed by your choice of Smoked Salmon & Avocado Roulade or Biltong, Pear & Boerenkaas Salad.

For the main event, choose our Traditional Ons Huisie Christmas Roast, featuring slow-roasted beef, crispy pork belly, our famous chicken pie, roast potatoes and red wine jus, or enjoy a West Coast Seafood Plate of grilled linefish, crispy calamari and mussels.
