The next chapter of Brookdale Estate’s Cinderella tale takes its shape in The Bistro and the Tasting Room found at our newly established cellar.
Found on gentle slopes in our furthest corner of vineyards, The Bistro gazes out across a sea of new vines and the mountainous landscape of our valley. With no other buildings or people in sight, it seems as though you are a world away. Here, in this pastoral paradise, menus will move to nature’s rhythms under the culinary wisdom of Executive Chef, Gary Coetzee.

Uncork your creativity at Brookdale Estate in the Paarl Winelands, where fine wine, inspired cuisine, and artistic expression will come together for a meaningful cause on Saturday 13 September 2025.
Hosted in partnership with the social impact organisation Call to Care, this unique Brookdale Clay & Wine fundraising event invites guests to a morning of art, flavour, and purpose in a guided workshop where guests will sculpt, paint and decorate their own clay jewellery tray to take home.
Call to Care is a Cape-based non-profit organisation dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities. By focusing on education, youth development, and basic needs support, they work tirelessly to create sustainable, long-term change for those most in need.
Guests will be welcomed at the Bistro at Brookdale with a glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by tastings of two Brookdale Mason Road wines, enjoyed with one of the elegantly plated small dishes. Choose between Duck liver pâté; Miso aubergine; or Bobotie tortellini in a feast for the senses that mirrors the creativity of the day.
For those wishing to extend the experience, Brookdale invites you to relax and savour a seasonal 2-course lunch (R425) or indulge in the full 3-course offering (R565) at the estate’s elegant bistro-style restaurant amongst the vineyards.
More than just a creative culinary adventure, proceeds from Brookdale’s Clay & Wine event will contribute to the support of underserved communities across the Western Cape.
