On Sunday, 10 May 2026, join us at Benguela Cove Wine Estate’s Moody Lagoon Restaurant for a celebration that combines coastal elegance with a new, tailored approach to dining. 

This year, we are offering a variety of dining experiences to satisfy every palette. Upon arrival at Moody Lagoon Restaurant, Mum will be toasted with a chilled, celebratory glass of our estate’s own Cuveé58 Cap Classique, the perfect sparkling start to her special day.

Our executive chef, Christo Hatting, has curated a selection of exclusive Mother’s Day specials - a "blackboard-style" menu designed specifically for the occasion. These seasonal dishes can be enjoyed alongside our full à la Carte menu.

This stylish subterranean salon-style room centres around a long table for up to 16 guests, designed for celebrations, intimate corporate dinners and special occasions that call for something a little more private.

Chef Jürgen Snyman curates signature menus for the table, each course thoughtfully paired with premium wines from the Durbanville Wine Route. Expect a considered selection of potstill brandies, gins and whiskies to round out the experience, making the cellar an ideal setting for long lunches, milestone dinners and evenings that unfold at an unhurried pace.
