Designed to be enjoyed slowly and shared generously, each course highlights the soul of winter cooking while showcasing modern Japanese techniques and unexpected layers of flavour.
What’s on the menu:
Miso Soup Bomb
A whimsical yet deeply comforting start — rich miso broth encapsulated in a flavour-
packed “bomb” that dissolves into warmth at the table.
Wood Ear Mushroom Salad
Earthy, umami-driven mushrooms paired with seasonal greens and a light dressing,
offering balance and crunch between courses.

A bold and hearty main, with crispy chicken katsu served over thick, chewy udon
noodles in a deeply spiced Japanese curry. Comforting, rich, and satisfying.

LAMTA’s Noises Off - 28 August - 14 September
LAMTA’s Noises Off - 28 August - 14 September
LAMTA’s Noises Off - R180 - R300
Called “the funniest farce ever written”, “Noises Off” is a classic play written by Michael Frayn that offers a hilarious glimpse behind the scenes of a theatrical production.
The play-within-a-play presents a series of comedic mishaps and misunderstandings as a cast attempts to stage a farce with a mix of acting talent, two weeks of rehearsals and all that can go wrong, going wrong…. and for some reason a plate of sardines that never knows where to be!
