The 2nd Capital City Wine Show - Pretoria 3 & 4 May

The 2nd Annual Capital City Wine Show returns to Pretoria on 3 and 4 May with a contemporary look inspired by the striking urbanscapes of the Jacaranda City. Building on the success of the 2018 inaugural show, the Capital City Wine Show takes place at the Capital Menlyn Maine hotel surrounded by chic restaurants and eateries located in Africa’s only “green city” precinct.
The Who’s Who, the A-List and the Bucket List wineries of the Cape will showcase a premium range reflecting their icon wines and the new kids on the block. Think Grenache, Cinsaut, Malbec and Merlot. Pretoria wine lovers who attended last year’s show will recognize the widely enjoyed wines of Boekenhoutskloof, Bonnievale, Fat Bastard, Glen Carlou, Glenelly, Hill&Dale, Jordan, Krone, Neethlingshof, Overgaauw, Rijk’s Robertson Wines, Saronsberg and Spier. Among others, new exhibitors Cape Diamond Wines, Lammershoek, Mensa and Survivor will introduce their innovative brands, while Da Luca, Reciprocal Wines and Vini Italia present their international cuvées and sparklings for visitor tastings. ‘Foodies’ selected for wine compatibility – Sushi Bus, Just Biltong, Chocolates and More (with imported salmon and foie gras) and Mari’s – will supply ‘on-the-move’ deli fare.
