The Cape Wine Auction Trust is proud to announce a dynamic new partnership with Nederburg, one of South Africa’s most iconic wine estates and part of Heineken Beverages South Africa. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the Cape Wine Auction, reinforcing its mission to uplift education in the Cape Winelands through philanthropy and celebration.

The 2026 Cape Wine Auction will be hosted at the historic Nederburg Farm on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Nederburg, offering guests a day of elegance, generosity, and unforgettable experiences. The format remains true to tradition with the morning devoted to the highly anticipated Barrel Auction, showcasing exclusive wines from South Africa’s top producers, followed at midday by the Experience Auction & Luncheon, where guests can bid on once-in-a-lifetime lots while enjoying an epicurean spread.

New to the 2026 event is The Celebration - a vibrant, fun-filled gathering for those wishing to revel in the spirit of the day. This open-access event will feature:

• Curated wine stands
• Live entertainment
• Interactive experiences and more

This strategic collaboration with Nederburg and Heineken Beverages South Africa is designed to ensure the sustainability and growth of the Cape Wine Auction Trust’s educational initiatives. By elevating the brand presence of the Auction and expanding its reach, a larger pool of sponsors and donors can be engaged; the number of bidders can increase; and ultimately, more funds can be raised to support education in the Winelands.
