The summer months are here, and things are heating up in the Mother City. Grab your sunnies and head to the place to see and be seen…The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa…

For the month of October, enjoy Perfect Picnic Pastimes in a special place! Whether it’s at the romantic Stanley’s Rock, nestled in the untamed beauty of the Table Mountain National Park or in the privacy of our lush Fynbos garden …we have THE perfect spot for the perfect picnic.

  • Picnic Pleasures – R2950 for two guests. Includes a Picnic Basket packed with decadent treats and a bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne (Available to Residents and Non-Residents)
  • Picnic Proposal – R3450 per couple. Includes a Picnic Basket packed with decadent treats; a bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne and a bunch of Roses (Available to Residents and Non-Residents)
  • Resident Picnic – R1600 for two guests which includes use of the picnic spots, a Gourmet picnic Hamper and a bottle of South African MCC Sparkling Wine.
  • Picnics are served at one of our two picnic spots and are upgradeable to the private use of our Fynbos Garden, at the surcharge of R1000. Only upgradeable 72 hours in advance.

Start your day the right way with the Café Grill Breakfast Special. Enjoy one of three delicious breakfasts in the beautiful surroundings of the Café Grill restaurant. Served daily from 07h00 to 11h00, price is R95 per person.

  • Café Breakfast – Two eggs of your choice, crispy back bacon, pork sausage, beef sausage, sautéed mushrooms and grilled tomato.
  • Eggs Benedict – With salmon or bacon
  • Café Croissant Breakfast – creamy scrambled egg, smoked salmon trout and chive crème fraiche

Founded in 1682 in South Africa’s premier wine region, Stellenbosch, the 880-hectare Rustenberg Estate has a rich history of working with nature to produce wines of distinct character true to their terroir, variety and informed style. The Rustenberg Food and Wine Dinner on 26 October will pair a delectable meal with some of this esteemed estate’s vintages. Taking place in The Azure Restaurant at 19h00 for 19h30, price is R595 per person and includes food, wine, water and gratuity.

For our final wine dinner of the year we are thrilled to showcase the multi-award-winning Bouchard Finlayson wine estate, in the Hemel-en- Aarde Valley. Established in 1989 on 125 hectares (312 acres) of Walker Bay’s prime viticultural land, Bouchard Finlayson Vineyard and Winery is a small cellar dedicated to the quality production of Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc. Owned by the Red Carnation Hotels’ Tollman family and under the leadership of founder Peter Finlayson and winemaker Chris Albrecht, 25 hectares (62 acres) of the estate are currently under vine with 50% devoted to the varietal for which Peter is most acclaimed – Pinot noir. Other cultivars under production include Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc and Sangiovese, as well as a handful under exploration. The Bouchard Finlayson Food and Wine Dinner on 30 November will feature a delicious meal paired with some of the estate’s best vintages. Taking place in The Azure Restaurant, 19h00 for 19h30, price is R595 per person and includes food, wine, water and gratuity.

During this time of tradition and family, the Christmas Eve Dinner on the 24 December will get your festive celebrations off to a great start! Both the Atlantic Terrace Marquee and Azure Restaurant, will be offering a cornucopia of festive goodies, as well as a welcome drink on arrival.

It’s time for Jingle Bells!! And you’ll be spoilt for choice on Christmas Day on 25 December, as each of our superb dining venues hosts a Christmas Lunch to tantalise the taste buds. Includes a three-course Buffet Menu and a welcome drink on arrival. Taking place in The Atlantic Marquee and The Azure Restaurant from 13h00, price is R1450 per person.

Wave goodbye to 2018, flapper-style, with our ebullient Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve Party on 31 December. With magnificent views, great music and menus celebrating the joy of the festive season, all the elegance and fun of the Jazz Age is back!
Venue: Atlantic Marquee, from 19h00, price is R2950 per person and includes a three-course Harvest Table, a glass of champagne and access to the after party in the Leopard Bar.
Venue: Azure Restaurant, 19h30 for 20h00, price is R3500 per person and includes a five-course set menu, a glad of French champagne at midnight and access to the Leopard bar after-party.



A taste exploration AND a great night out! Our Dégustation Dinners offer a wonderful combination of flavours and textures across six mouth-watering courses. Dinners take place at The Chefs Table in Azure Restaurant and can be booked for exclusive dinners for between six and 12 guests. Booking is essential. Price is R1450 per person for a six-course dinner including wine pairings and water.

The Vegan Tasting Menu is made with the freshest, healthiest seasonal ingredients. Things like beetroot, butternut, beans and tofu never tasted or looked this good. Price is R475 per person with a wine pairing option available.

Our legendary High Tea is the ideal way to spoil yourself or to celebrate a special event. Indulge in scrumptious, freshly baked scones with all the trimmings, cupcakes, and mouth-watering finger sandwiches, enjoyed with the perfect cup of tea or speciality coffee. Price is R325 per person, served daily on a three-tier tea stand in The Leopard Bar or The Conservatory.

Already renowned for our amazing traditional high tea, The Twelve Apostles, now also offers a Vegan High Tea, with both sweet and savoury treats, to complement our current offering. Look out for the delicious dairy free scones, banana and oat cookie, coconut panna cotta and avocado, hummus and marinated tomato tortilla wrap. Chef Gina’s crafty use of dairy substitutes is a revelation even for non-vegans! From 10h00 to 16h00 daily, price is R375 per person.

Gin & Bare It…Gin Tasting Experience Offering a flight of three Gin’s all individually paired with a different tonic water, served on a unique Gin tasting tray and featuring a variety of botanicals and spices for you to enjoy with your own crafted G&T. Price is R250 per person.
Gin & Canapé Experience The Gin & Canape Tasting Experience pairs your G&Ts with three Canapes designed by Chef Nicholas Goldschmidt. Price is R395 per person and 24-hours’ notice required to book.
Gin Making Experience – Craft your own Gin, with the expert assistance of our Gin Mixologist. person. Start the evening with a Gin & Canape Tasting, before moving into artistic mode as you create your own bottle of Gin by infusing your own botanicals into the bottle. EVERY Friday from 18h00, price is R 495 per person.
Craft Beer & Canapé Experience The non-Gin Drinkers get to savour five different local brews all individually paired with canapes created by Executive Chef Christo Pretorius.  Enjoy alongside the Gin Tasting for R295 per person, 24-hours’ notice required.

Make your child’s the best, ‘five-star’ birthday bash ever! Our unique and stress-free children’s parties include a delicious fun-filled lunch and milkshake in The Café Grill, followed by a movie… chosen by the birthday girl /boy, in our private cinema, with popcorn and a host of sweet treats.
