Ever-popular Trophy Wine Show public tastings return to both Sandton and Cape Town!

The Trophy Wine Show brought to you by Investec, is excited to host the 2023 Public Tastings in both Johannesburg and Cape Town once again. Wine lovers will be spoilt for choice with at least 110 wines of distinction – the silver, gold and trophy winning wines and some museum class winners (to show that SA wines age well) – on show for these single night tastings in each city.
Highlights will be the Best White and Best Red Wines of Show, the International Judges’ trophy winner, the Best Old Vine Wine, the Discovery of the Show (best value wine) and Best Premium Wine – in addition to the plethora of category winners. These winners were selected from almost 700 wines judged by an esteemed panel which included the world’s most renowned wine critic, Jancis Robinson MW OBE.
Undoubtedly, the wines of the Most Successful Producer, to be announced on 8 June with the full set of the 2023 results, will attract a lot of attention too.
Sandton:
Date: Wednesday 14 June
Venue: Sandton Convention Centre (Bill Gallagher Room), Maude Street, Sandton
Time: 17:00 to 21:00 (No first entry after 20:30)
Tickets: Book at WEBTICKETS: R220 for Early Bird bookings until 9 June; R250 thereafter. Subject to availability, tickets at the door cost R290. Tickets are limited, and include the sampling of all wines and the tasting glass to take home. Light meals for sale.
Cape Town
Date: Wednesday 21 June
Venue: CTICC 2 (Hall 8), corner Heerengracht & Rua Bartholomeu Dias, Foreshore Cape Town
Time: 17:00 to 21:00 (No first entry after 20:30)
Tickets: Book at WEBTICKETS: R220 for Early Bird bookings until 14 June; R250 thereafter. Subject to availability, tickets at the door cost R290.Tickets are limited, and include the sampling of all wines and the tasting glass to take home. Light meals for sale.
Wine sales of these award-winning wines via specialist online wine retailer Port2Port will be available on the night too.
