The Ellerman House culinary team continues their series of collaborations with award winning chefs by welcoming Michael Cooke – previously of Camphors at Vergelegen into the kitchen with Ellerman House Head Chef, Kieran Whyte, and Culinary Director, Peter Tempelhoff.
Together, these three remarkable chefs will create an unforgettable multi-course menu to be served in the Wine Gallery alongside a paired selection of wines from the extensive private collection.
Michael Cooke was the Executive Chef at Camphors for eight years, where he championed sustainability and a culture of transparency, honesty and respect. In that time, he won the Eat Out Woolworths Sustainability Award twice and became known for his dedication to not only ethical and environmentally-friendly food provenance, but the health and happiness of his colleagues – a truly far-reaching sustainability philosophy.
