Since 1992 - The well established restaurant in the V&A Waterfront
Here at the Greek Fisherman in Cape Town, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes.
But, we also believe in moving with the times, so we've added a modern twist to our otherwise classic menu.
Our cuisine includes Mediterranean & Seafood specialties and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Seafood Platter Feast and our stunning Lamb in the Oven. Choose from over 25 meze, starters and tapas!
Established in 1992, the Greek Fisherman is the oldest restaurant in the V&A Waterfront and is still owned by the same owners as when the Victoria Wharf, Waterfront opened in 1992.
Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy delicious seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals
Sushi & cocktail bar
The cocktail bar provides guests with the opportunity to relax before settling in to an evening of great food and excellent service in the heart of the popular V&A Waterfront. The Sushi Chefs will entertain you as they prepare their popular dishes.
Greek Fisherman has over 150 wines, affording wine connoisseurs a selection of the best wines the Cape Winelands has to offer.
We also have a Sommelier on hand to assist with wine recommendations and food pairing from our fantastic wine selection.
Semi private function areas
Greek Fisherman has the unique advantage of being in the heart of the V&A Waterfront offering spectacular views of the harbour and Table Mountain. The concept of semi private function areas allows parties and functions to be enjoyed in the newly renovated traditional Greek Restaurant with a modern twist.
Whether it's a corporate conference, product launch or private celebration, various areas of the Greek Fisherman can be sectioned off for a more private experience to accommodate every scenario.
