Yatai Unveils Exciting New Menu Launching 24 April

20 April 2026

  • Yatai Ramen Bar - Cape Town

On 24 April, Yatai will be unveiling a refreshed menu designed to bring more variety, flavour, and shareable experiences to the table.

The relaunch introduces a vibrant selection of revamped small sharing plates, perfect for exploring different tastes and enjoying a more dynamic way of dining. It is all about encouraging guests to discover more of Japan through a wider range of flavours and dishes.

Traditional Japanese tempura is also being introduced, alongside new robata grill items that add depth and smokiness to the menu.

For ramen lovers, the favourites remain. The signature kotteri style ramen continues to feature, now complemented by two new chintan style ramen options, offering a lighter, more refined broth to balance the richness guests already know and love.

A full sushi offering is also being introduced at Yatai. The menu will include an array of options such as open temaki tacos, handrolls, maki, and more, bringing a fresh and interactive element to the experience.

A new lunchtime sushi special is also being introduced: a sushi bento box featuring 20 pieces of mixed sushi for R199. It will be available from Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 4pm.

This relaunch is all about offering more to discover, more to share, and more reasons to return. Yatai is excited for guests to experience it.

Guests are welcomed from 24 April.
