Voting now open in the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award category!

11 January 2023

Champion your chosen young chef in the latest edition of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2022-2023 by voting for them in the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award.

Anticipation mounts as the fifteen chef finalists from the Africa, Middle East & South Asia region fine-tune their dishes for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Regional Final. Foodies, fellow chefs and the fine-dining lovers’ community now get their chance to vote in this award category.

The Food for Thought Award will be presented to a chef that best represents their personal philosophy and inspiration behind their signature dish. This prestigious award will take the winner to the global final of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy competition in Milan later this year. Here they will take part in a career-expanding series of workshops and events and compete against the other winners in this category, from around the world.

The same question was posed to each chef “What message, history and identity would you like to convey through your dish?” Read about the young chefs’ answers and view the photos of their dishes as featured on the Fine Dining Lovers website HERE with a one-click voting button.

Voting closes at midnight on Thursday 19 January 2023.

The winner of the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award will be announced along with the other three awards during the Africa, Middle East & South Asia regional final gala dinner & awards ceremony, which takes place at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town on 24th January 2023.

The S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy wishes all chefs the best of luck! For more information on the competition please visit www.sanpellegrinoyoungchefacademy.com
