Oscar Kotze’s Osetra Restaurant Opens in Kalk Bay
01 November 2018
Osetra Restaurant, a 220-seater upmarket designer restaurant, situated in the heart of picturesque Kalk Bay is now open. The restaurant, named after the Caviar, is almost completely sea facing and the outside dining terrace is perfectly positioned for people watching.
Osetra is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, offering various menus and boasts a wine list that showcases more than two hundred and fifty of South Africa’s finest wines, and what’s more, all wines are available by the glass.
There is also a full Cocktail Menu, featuring the classics as well as Osetra Signature cocktails.
Kalk Bay is renowned for its bespoke shopping, and Osetra is no exception. The Osetra Shop is a fully licensed Wine Boutique, as well as a Deli and Retail Shop. The idea is that one can buy all the produce used in the Restaurant, as well as Specialty Products made by the Restaurant and other suppliers, manufacturers and artisans.
The average price for a meal excluding alcohol is hard to pin down, as the restaurant truly caters for everyone. With R 250 per person, one would be spoiled for choice.
