Our menu of select authentic Italian dishes are prepared for you by Head Chef Paige Darare who trained under Italian Chef Guido Luccetta for over 10 years in the infamous Quido’s restaurant Harare and has been with La Dolce Vita for 9 years now, bringing this very essential part of Italy to La Dolce Vita.
Located in the quaint village of Kosmos not only lends itself to al fresco dining with great views of the Dam but also to the old custom of after diner walks in a safe and secure environment. Most guests staying in Kosmos’s many B & B’s actually take a romantic moonlit stroll to dinner and back. But beware and informed that we have had a 100% success rate of marriage proposals at La Dolce Vita, 368 and counting. Proof of this lays in the number of locks placed on our forever chain by the entrance.
Due to the intimacy of the restaurant we do not allow children under 12, however they are most welcome to join us on the lower level of our Sunday boat cruise when we pack up the restaurant and put it on the boat for a 2 hour Sunday cruise with Harties Boat Company. An Italian feast awaits while we gently cruise the waters of Hartbeespoort Dam shadowed by the Magaliesburg mountain range.
