When we set about planning our dream restaurant, we imagined it to be a place of warmth and magic.
Something you would feel from the time you arrived until you called it a night. It’s in that moment of sitting down at your table that you finally slow down, exhale, turn it outwards and simply notice what is there.
The first thing we bought for our restaurant was the tables. Twenty-nine of them. We laid them out in an otherwise empty shell. We stood at the entrance of the restaurant and saw in our mind’s eye, our 29 tables inhabited by laughing, talking, eating, joyful people!
The hangout of the modernist and the home of the traditionalist. We knew then that we didn’t just want people to come dine with us: we wanted them to come ‘Table 29’ with us!

Generous portion of lamb, slow roasted in red wine, blended rustic spices and rosemary. Complemented by Parmesan mash potatoes, roasted baby onions and seasonal vegetables.
350g tender rump steak, grilled with cracked rosemary salt. Served with seasonal vegetables & your choice of sauce and an additional side of either chips, rice or a salad.
