The Slick Restaurant Group, owners of Gibson’s, Belthazar and Balducci, continue their culinary crusade for excitement, innovation and excellence at the V&A Waterfront, with the re-launch of Gibson’s in a prime Waterfront location: a spacious super-cool new home with indoor and alfresco dining a few doors down from sister restaurant Belthazar.

The popular Gibson’s, offering “the best burgers and ribs ever”, “fries to die for”, “wonderful steaks and the best chicken you can hope for”, “sinfully awesome shakes”, “the friendliest service ever” and “excellent value for money”, according to Gibson’s fans on TripAdvisor, has mega-exciting new things on the go.

PERFECT NEW LOCATION: Previously situated inside the Victoria Wharf and running endless queues due to limited seating for only 60 patrons, Gibson’s can now seat 70 indoors - in a stylish modern setting created by award-winning designer, Adam Court (ex Stefan Antoni) - and 110 outside on the terrace enjoying full views of the harbour and Table Mountain. During the winter of 2016, the terrace is being renovated and converted into an all-weather dining enclosure.

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FAMILY: Gibson’s has also whipped up some fabulicious new fare to-die-for:

  • The Beirut Beef and Vegetarian Burgers (served with homemade hommos and tahini)
  • Chicken Satay Roll (fresh chicken marinated in Gibson’s homemade satay sauce, grilled and served on a freshly baked roll
  • Luxury Philly Steak Roll (28-day-matured grainfed fillet with cheddar cheese, bacon and lashings of Gibson’s secret no 6 sauce on a freshly baked roll         
  • Fried Fish and Chips - Battered hake served with thick cut fries
  • Spatchcock - Half chicken marinated in bar-b-que basting and served with thick cut fries or baked potato
  • T- Bone - 400g 28-day-matured grainfed T-Bone served with thick cut fries or baked potato
  • Beef Kebabs - Tender cuts of rump and sirloin, grilled with peppadews and onion on a skewer and served with thick cut fries
