Marc’s Mediterranean Cuisine and Garden Restaurant is situated in Paarl in the Western Cape. Set in the heart of Main Street among beautifully restored historic buildings; Marc’s offers diners a stylish Provencal style interior with bistro type seating and a varied menu with influences from Europe.
Bold artwork is featured on warm red walls set against original wood strip flooring and yellowwood tables and chairs. The lighting creates a soft mood and convivial atmosphere while the old 1920’s French style stove not only warms the restaurant in winter but heats soups and stews.
Marc’s restaurant opens onto a back courtyard terrace with magnificent views of the mountains. Trendy blue tables with white umbrellas are set around a feature fountain and for large groups or buffets, a pergola with a stone table is the ideal spot to host an outdoor function. The herbs, lavender bushes and olive trees planted around the terrace exude a heavenly fragrance. This lovely setting is perfect for alfresco dining on warm sunny days.

At Marc's we invite you to share this love of cooking, eating and hospitality with us. The Hors d 'Oeuvre, known as "mezze" forms a large part of the Mediterranean way of life."
We have taken care to choose the most sought after mezze including Kafta - meatballs made from a mix of lamb and beef mince with spices, Grilled mixed peppers marinated in balsamic vinegar and oil, and crisp golden Spinach and Feta pies. Diners may choose a single mezze dish or a mixed platter for one or two persons. Other Mediterranean specialties on the starter menu include Gazpacho Andalous (a traditional cold tomato soup) and a tasty Goat cheese salad.
