Mike’s has been given a new identity, signalled by a new logo and a change in décor focussing on the kitchen as a theme. The design links the new image to Mike’s Kitchen’s distinguished past, while creating a contemporary atmosphere firmly grounded in the kitchen at home. In keeping with Mike’s new look and positioning, the menu now includes unique dishes which supplement the existing all-time favourites and of course, Mike’s famous salad bar and carvery buffet. With its repositioning well under way with an existing 21 stores and gaining widespread consumer approval, Mike’s have managed to maintain the greater part of their brand equity, while remaining fashionable.
The spirit of Mike's Kitchen can truly be captured in the simple question "Could you eat better even at twice the price?" The Mike’s Kitchen chain is firmly positioned as a family restaurant with a special focus on children. The salad bar and carvery are key features, as are good wholesome food and professional service.
