Peter Gordon founded Barristers in November 1980 and it has grown from
an 80-seater to a 150-seater restaurant, comprising of the Grill Room,
the Café and the Courtyard.
With a highly competent Management Team, well-trained staff, and unique facilities, Barristers is perfectly positioned to continue its growth and
leadership role in the restaurant and service industry.
Barristers was taken over by Lance and Diane Chandler in March 2008
and they have committed to the Barristers brand and traditions.

CHEFS DETAILS
Brought up on a farm in the Eastern Cape and strongly influenced by healthy delicious home cooking, Dee Hart completed her training with Fedics before working for a number of top restaurants including her own over the past 16 years. Not only does she bring a wealth of experience to Barristers, but uses her fluent Xhosa to great effect in the kitchen!
