Bellgables Restaurant is set on 17 hectares in beautiful country farmlands in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind. Often spoken of as Gauteng’s ‘best kept secret’, Bellgables has been revamped from a rustic farmhouse into a fine country restaurant, adorned with brilliant silver and sparkling chandeliers.
The dining rooms are divided into three separate rooms, each elegantly decorated to ensure the ultimate fine dining experience. Romantic flower settings adorn each table, truly a visual feast.
Apart from this exquisite setting, Bellgables offers an outstanding menu prepared to perfection by chef Errol Gobey, an inductee into the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs as Maitre Rotiseur. Bellgables impresses with a collection of awards, justly named one of the top 30 restaurants by Moet & Chandon.

Imported Scottish salmon, filleted and grilled, on a bed of Falklands calamari, New Zealand mussel, shrimp and prawn sauce.
Duck leg & thigh served on the bone, crispy fried on top, with a sweet & sour plum and cherry sauce.
Chicken & Prawn Curry
Yogurt marinated chicken with prawn in a coconut milk based curry casserole flavoured with fresh curry leaf, daynia & herbs.
Grilled black mushroom with a stuffing of jersey cream cheese, shredded smoked salmon trout, shrimps & herbs, served with a light creamy smoked salmon sauce.
Thinly sliced beef carpaccio on a garnish of lettuce & garden greens, drizzled with a white truffle oil, olive oil & chive dressing, finished on top with pecorino shavings.

From N14 motorway: Access through 'Randburg / Zwartkop' on-ramp to Beyers Naude Drive. At top of bridge turn right into Beyers Naude Drive (towards Zwartkop) and proceed straight for 6 kms. Sigboard & turn-off to the left. **Also use signposts for Heia Safari / Garden Lodge / Ekudeni, situated on same road.
